Stockport tech firm targets 10,000 takeaways with free platform as it takes on food delivery giants

A Stockport-based technology business is targeting 10,000 independent takeaway clients over the next 12 months, after developing a completely free platform designed to challenge the traditional economics of online food ordering.

Takeaway Growth Agency (TGA) gives independent takeaways their own branded website and ordering platform, completely free, backed by free marketing, loyalty and reputation management support. There is no platform fee, no software fee and no marketing retainer for the takeaway to pay.

“Independent takeaways have spent years being told they have two choices: pay significant commissions to the big delivery platforms, or pay someone else for the technology and marketing they need to compete with them. We don’t believe those should be the only choices.”
Kyri Karsa, Founder, Takeaway Growth Agency

TGA spent the past year working quietly with its initial 200 clients, refining the model and making sure it held up before scaling. Having proven the approach works, the company is now moving into a phase of controlled growth, onboarding compatible new clients on a clear rollout plan, ahead of a full nationwide release of its services within the next three years.

The company has grown revenues by 30% over the past year, adding around 40 new takeaway clients to take its client base to approximately 200 businesses across all corners of the UK, from Fraserburgh to Cornwall.

The model is designed to give takeaways exactly what they want: more customers, at no cost to acquire them. Shops using TGA’s platform pay nothing at all, an approach already reflected in the more than 300,000 registered users ordering through TGA-powered sites.

Where other marketing agencies charge a fixed monthly retainer whether or not they deliver results, and delivery portals take a cut of every order without offering any marketing at all, TGA’s marketing is entirely free and built around what each shop actually needs, rather than a generic package sold to every client.

Support is targeted to wherever a takeaway needs it most, whether that’s driving direct orders, building loyalty with existing customers or improving visibility on Google, and it unlocks as the shop grows, at no extra cost. Once a shop has enough customers signed up, for example, it unlocks free email marketing campaigns, directly to their customers. TGA also offers optional paid add-ons for increased growth such as bespoke extra social media, flyer designs and personalised t-shirts and boxes available for clients who want them.

Having grown its team by 60% since November 2025, TGA is planning further expansion as it pursues its target of 10,000 takeaway clients over the next 12 months.

“Our philosophy is simple: a takeaway shouldn’t have to pay for software just for existing. We give independent businesses free technology and free marketing infrastructure to build their own brand and their own customer relationships, rather than renting access to customers through somebody else’s platform. The next challenge is proving we can do this at a significantly greater scale: growing from around 200 takeaway clients today to 10,000, and building a team of around 20 people over the next 12 months.”
Kyri Karsa, Founder, Takeaway Growth Agency

TGA is now taking applications from independent takeaways across the UK who want to grow their own customer base for free, with nothing to pay in platform fees, software fees or a marketing retainer. Shops interested in joining the platform can find out more at takeawaygrowthagency.com, or by contacting the team directly.
